Jamaicans Andrew Ramgeet and Shaun Bridgmohan both logged added-money wins at racetracks across the United States last weekend.

Riding at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota, veteran Ramgeet partnered with hot favourite Mr Jagermeister to crush the field in the US$85,000 Northern Lights Futurity by fifteen-and-a-half lengths.

Going six furlongs for the two-year-old colts, Mr Jagermeister vied early on for the lead with Smooth Criminal before getting free to produce sharp splits of 22.35 seconds for the quarter and 46.10 for the half.

The pair came off the final turn about two lengths in front of the chasing Speeding Kid, but left the rival in their wake in a dominant stretch run that saw them reach the wire in 1:10.90.

Seven-furlong trip

At Ellis Park in Henderson, Kentucky, Shaun Bridgmohan combined with 11-1 outsider Kelly's Humor to beat the two-year-old fillies in the US$75,000 Ellis Park Debutante Stakes by a length.

In a seven-furlong trip, Bridgmohan and Kelly's Humor languished near the rear of the field as Waki Patriot and Mauk's Tuff disputed the lead through the half run in 44.24 seconds.

Upset Brewing led in the stretch but Bridgmohan rallied Kelly's Humor in the lane, collared the leader in final sixteenth before getting to the wire in a time of 1:24.63.
