With the match off to a tame start, Party Stand patrons craved for excitement in Jamaica's first home game of the 2017 Caribbean Premier League season.

The early wickets taken by Jamaica Tallawahs had done much to put patrons in a party mood.

The fact that Shane Watson rode his luck on his way to 80 did not help. This was compounded by the fact that Bounty Killer did not grace the stage at the half-way interval as was anticipated.

However, DJ Sparks did much to boost the energy of the fans on the El Dorado-sponsored stand.

And with the Tallawahs picking up a few wickets towards the other end of the St Lucia Stars innings, the stage was set for a grand party which came at the end of the game. Tallawahs won by 6 wickets.
