Jamaica's Reggae Boyz will play Saturday's friendly international against Saudi Arabia in Jeddah instead of Riyadh, following a late venue change.

The game, originally scheduled for King Fahd International Stadium, will now be played in the coastal port city where several football stadiums are located.

No reason for the change was given neither was the name of the new stadium venue specified.

The Jamaicans, who left here on Tuesday, were expected to fly from Washington DC directly to Jeddah yesterday.

The friendly international marks only the fourth meeting between the two teams, with the last coming 18 years ago in California, United States.

Of the three meetings, Jamaica have won once, lost one and drawn the other encounter.

The Saudis are World Cup bound, having finished second to Japan in Group B of the Asian section of qualifiers.
