The stage is set for the Jamaica Hockey Federation to welcome men's and women's team from Guatemala, Guyana, Panama, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda for the 2017 Field Hockey CAC Games Qualifiers at the JN Hockey Field from November 5-12.

The finalists in both men's and women's competition will qualify for the 2018 CAC Games in Barranquilla, Colombia.

Panama and Guatemala have been playing international field hockey for approximately 10 years, and they will be visiting Jamaica to play for the first time in their history. Puerto Rico, who were devastated by Hurricane Maria, will still make the trip to Jamaica, following up on their 2014 world league appearance on the island.
