Boys' Town keep Foster at bay

Craig Foster (centre) of Reno makes a pass while Boys' Town's Ricardo Dennis (left) and Garfield Gillespie (right) try to intercept during their Premier League game at the Barbican field on Sunday.

Reno's Craig Foster, who had scored all his team's four goals in their first three Premier League games this season, could not break down Boys' Town's backline last Sunday.

Foster failed to score and no other player did for Reno as they battled to a 0-0 draw against Boys' Town at Barbican Complex. Foster said Reno will rebound.

"We had a flat game. We just did not do well today. It is not only about me, but the team. We have to make it up in the next game," Foster told STAR Sports.

Reno's coach, Michael 'Jim Dandy' Graham, was happy with the point that kept his team's unbeaten run but not pleased with the performance.

"We are happy for the point today, but not satisfied with the performance of the team," Graham said.

"Boys' Town put up a good fight. We did not play well, but it is a work in progress. It is early days, so we will continue working hard in order to get it right," the former national striker added.

Boys' Town coach Andrew Price said his team missed seven senior players due to injuries, so it was a good performance from the young players.

"We played well without seven senior players. The young players stepped in and gave a good fight. We have to keep going and take it one game at a time. We got some chances to win the game and did not take them. However, we have to look forward to the next game."
