Among the 12 teams which participated in the Red Stripe Premier League this season, Harbour View FC conceded the least number of goals, 22.

Goalkeeper, Christian Kluvi, believes that this played a significant role in his team qualifying for the post season and said it could help them to snatch the title away from favourites Portmore United and Arnett Gardens FC.

"Having clean sheets is really important because they help us to win games. We had a lot of clean sheets and I think it helped us to get into the playoffs and it is important if we are going to win the title," Kluvi said.

The Ghanaian, who missed a number of games this season because he got back to the island late from his holiday, has kept seven clean sheets this season.

He also attributes the team's outstanding defensive performance in the latter part of the season to the players finally grasping the coaches' tactics.

"At the beginning of the season we weren't doing so well because we weren't used to playing with each other. But I think as the season went on, we got used to each and we also started to understand what the coaches wanted us to do," Kluvi said.

He added: "My defenders also play an important role and we will continue that, if can continue to communicate with each other ."
