Dr Dean Weatherly, coach of Falmouth United, said his team cannot afford to slip-up if they are to win the Grandeur Transportation Services/ MonyMusk Rum Trelawny FA Major League.

Falmouth United roared into the semi-finals after picking up 26 points from 10 games. They scored 30 goals and conceded four in the preliminary round.

Weatherly said that despite being dominant in the league round, with eight wins and two draws, they will have to bring their A-game now that they are in the medal round.

"In any competition, the preliminary games are really preparation for the semi-finals and final. Those are done and gone. What is to come is the important part ... . The slate is wiped clean and everyone will be starting again from ground zero," said Weatherly.

The other teams in the semi-final are Duanvale FC, Coopers Pen FC and Spicy Hill SC.

Coopers Pen FC, the team which Falmouth play in the semi on Sunday, recorded a heavy 4-1 win over Spicy Hill on the weekend. Falmouth, meanwhile, had to be content with a 2-1 draw with Holland Utd.
