H’View aiming to fix home form
Harbour View's relegation battle in the Red Stripe Premier League is at another defining moment as they are scheduled to take on Dunbeholden, who are two points behind them in the table.
The Fabian Taylor-coached team can separate themselves from the bottom three teams if they are able to break their home curse at the Harbour View Stadium on Sunday.
"It is a must-win game, like all the rest of games we have," Taylor said. "We are playing at home, and even though we have not been winning games, we have to change that now because these points are important."
Harbour View have not won at home since beating Cavalier 1-0 on November 7, 2018.
A victory could firmly separate The Stars of the East from the bottom three as they would move to 29 points, with six games left to be played in the regular season.
Harbour View seem to have turned things around after Ricardo Gardner abdicated his head coaching post after only managing to win two of the first 15 games.
Taylor said that the club's quest to expose its players to international football has attributed to the team's inconsistency.
"If you notice, we have been sending a lot of our players overseas. Because of this, we haven't been able to settle because we are not able to keep the core of the team together for any long period," Taylor said.
