St Catherine, St Hugh’s start defence of Urban netball titles
Defending Senior Urban ISSA netball champions St Catherine High start the defence of their title tomorrow when competition in three zones gets under way.
The Phyllis Thompson-coached St Catherine will be home to Vauxhall in Zone B, starting at 3:30 p.m., with Junior teams of both in action at 2:30 p.m. In the other game in the zone, Innswood will host St Andrew Technical in Junior action.
In Zone A, Mona will be at home to St Andrew High in Senior action, while Clan Carthy tackle Camperdown and Tivoli go up against Jonathan Grant in Junior action.
Two Senior matches will be played in Zone C tomorrow, as Jose Marti will be at home to Holy Childhood and Papine taking on visitors Merle Grove.
Action in Zone D and E will be played on Friday.
In Zone D, defending Junior champions St Hugh's will open their account against Cedar Grove. In another Junior game, Alpha host Holy Trinity while Campion and Tarrant lock horns in Junior and Senior action.
Kingston Technical will battle Gaynstead at home in Junior action in Zone E, with Waterford hosting The Queen's School. Bridgeport will be up against Norman Manley at home in both Junior and Senior action.
