In love with my brother-in-law
I am 31 and in love with my brother-in-law. He is divorced. My sister is married to his brother. He is 40 and he has two children. He is living in the US.
From the first day I met him, I fell for him, but I didn't know he was admiring me too. He went back without saying a word to me.
A few days later, he called and said that he could not sleep because I was on his mind and that he was coming back to Jamaica to see me and wanted to know if I would marry him.
I told him I couldn't give him an answer right away.
I told my sister about it and she said I should have told him I was not interested because she is married to his brother. I told her that he knows already. She is not pleased. I don't know what to do.
Pastor, it has been six months now since we have been together, and I am getting to love him more and more. I can't see why we should not get married. So, please for your advice.
Your sister should not try to stand in your way. She should allow you to make your own decision. If this man makes you happy, go for it.
I see no reason why you should not marry him. However, I know many people would not agree with me.
