I am too skinny

December 23, 2017

Dear Pastor,

I have a very serious problem that I hope you will be able to give me a solution for. I live in the US. I am a 23-year-old, 6' 2", 165-pound male. My problem is that I am too skinny.

I want to gain weight. I buy weight-gain mix, vitamin pills, and I even lift a little weights, all to no avail. I get mad or jealous when I see someone who is full-figured.

I don't want to be fat. People always tease me and say that I am too skinny. I laugh with them, but on the inside I just want to go over to them and punch their lights out.

Even my girlfriend calls me skinny. I went to the doctor and he said that I am at the weight that a 6' 2" male should be, but I want to think differently.

Could you give me some advice on what to do? I want to gain at least 40 pounds.

Dear Skinny,

According to what I have studied, you are indeed too skinny for your height.

Don't waste your money on the products that you have been buying. Go see another doctor who would put you on a plan that would help you to gain some more weight.
