His love is fake love

February 19, 2020

Dear Pastor,

I am 22 years old and I have a boyfriend. He says he loves me, but as I see it, his love is fake love. He can't hold a job. He wants me to support him. Every week I have to give him money out of my pay and he doesn't give me anything.

He is running taxi for somebody. I don't know what he does with his money. Sometimes I go into his pocket and see money in there, but I am afraid to take his money. I want to leave him but I am also afraid. He is pressuring me to get pregnant, but I don't want to get pregnant by him. I told him that I know he has other girlfriends because I hear him talking to them on the phone. So, I told him he can get one of them pregnant.

When I met him, I truly loved him. Now if I am having sex with him, I have to fake everything. I am planning to go and try to get a visa because that is the only way I can get away from him. I am hating him more and more every day.

Dear Writer,

It is either you love this man or you don't love him. I do not believe that one can fake love, and if one tries to do so, they will not succeed. If you know you do not love this man, move on. The good Lord will take care of you.

It is said that true love is hard to find, but if you have discovered that you are not in love with this man, make your plans and leave. If you feel that your life will be in danger, report him to the police, but don't stay with him.
