After downloading the Star Application for Blackberry...
You should see a prompt to allow the application access, select "Yes"
(if you did not get this prompt that is ok).

Look in the 'download folder' on your Blackberry handset
Move the icon to homescreen

Congratulations! The Star Blackberry Application should now be installed on your phone. (Data charges associated with the service provider might apply)

How To Access The Star On Any "Internet Ready" Mobile Phone

If your mobile phone has a web browser built in, you can access. However, the Jamaica Star currently does not have an optimised mobile site.

Trouble Shooting

Problems downloading the Application?
ensure your mobile phone is set to the correct browser settings

Open the web browser on your handset
Press the Blackberry button then scroll down and 'select Options'
Select 'Browser Configuration', now select 'Browser', and ensure that it is set to Internet Browser or Hotspot Browser.
Press the Blackberry button then scroll down and select 'Save Options'

The latest version is 0.92. If you do not have that version, visit AppWorld and install the the latest version

iPhone/Andriod

In order to view the Star on your Android/iPhone Device you will need to install Google Currents
