Tell Me Pastor Email

You're the third wheel

Dear Pastor,

May God bless you for the wonderful work you are doing to help people all over the globe.

I am in trouble and I need your fatherly advice. I am a 25-year-old man and I have been dating this woman for about a year and a half.

Loveless marriage

She is married and she tells me she doesn't love her husband and she only married him because he had no papers.

I really love this woman but I don't want her to leave her husband because of me. If anything I want him to leave on his own. Please tell me what to do.

S.B., Bronx, New York

Dear S.B.,

It is not for the man to go. It is for you to end the relationship with this woman. Regardless what she says to you, she is legally married to him and you do not know if she is speaking the truth.

This woman and her husband are living together. Tell her that although you love her and you understand how she feels about you, it is unwise for both of you to continue having an intimate relationship.

Pastor.
