And the Ultimate Performer is...

For a few weeks THE STAR has been running a poll to find out who is the Ultimate Dancehall Performer.

Well the ballots are in and after tallying the votes we now have the top ten as chosen by the people for 'The People Paper'.

Jamaica has spoken and apparently the fans couldn't decide who is the top dancehall performer as there was a tie between current acts, Beenie Man and Elephant Man with 90 points each

for the top spot.

Following behind them are Charlie Chaplin, Anthony B, Bounty Killer, Baby Cham, Lady Saw, Buju Banton, T.O.K. and Shaggy.

The top ten was chosen from a list of 25, handpicked by THE WEEKEND STAR, under the criteria -

2. An obviously prepared set

4. Energy.
