Dear Pastor,
I would like to say that you are doing a fine job.
I am a descendant of a Jamaican family. I moved to the U.S. when I was a toddler. I lived with my grandfather for years.
My problem is that my grandfather doesn't love me like a normal grandfather does; it's more. One day he waited until I was asleep and he fondled me. I told him to stop and he continued until he took off my panties and raped me. It was so awful. The feeling was so unpleasurable. I feel as though I will never have another sex partner. I now think that I am pregnant with his baby and I don't know what to do.
Please, I'm asking for your help.
S. R., U.S.A.
Dear S.R,
Please go to a doctor and tell him or her the truth. Say exactly what your grandfather did to you. The doctor will advise you. You should also leave your grandfather's home. I am sorry you did not give your age but I am assuming that you are in your teens. I am sure that the medical practitioner can assist you in getting a temporary place for you to live.
I beg you, do not delay. Go to see a doctor today. I regret that you did not report your grandfather to the police.
Pastor
