Reggae Boy Davis returns

LONDON, CMC:

The return of Jamaican international Claude Davis in addition to several other key players, will bolster the Preston North End Squad ahead of their weekend clash with Plymouth.

The Championship side are eighth in the table on 43 points and have made a surge up the tables after losing just one of their last six league games.

"Eddie's (Eddie Lewis) back and has a good couple of days training," manager Billy Davies said.

"It's nice to have Eddie back for the weekend and it's another headache for team selection. Claude Davis is back from suspension and in the squad as well."

He added: "It's about keeping these players fit, keeping them fit and having that competition there. In many ways it is a nice problem to have."
