DEAR PASTOR,
I am a girl, 19, who came out of a painful relationship and it has made me depressed. My problem now is that I can't find the right person to settle down with and secondly, I can't trust men and I think I will be hurt again.
My ex boyfriend and I still communicate. Whenever I hear love songs, which is my favourite music, I often cry. I often feel inferior to people and I hardly socialise. I am at home a lot and I am not eager to go out with my so called friends.
I want to be baptised this Christmas morning. Pray for me as I find it hard to forgive.
Give me your fair advice on my predicament. Love you.

Dear A.W.,
You are only 19 you don't have to be in a hurry to establish another relationship. I don't know what caused the breaking up between you and your boyfriend but I know for sure that in time you will get over it. It is normal to cry because you are sad. So don't think that you shouldn't cry.
It is not advisable for you to be eager to get into another relationship soon after the breaking up of a previous relationship because you are vulnerable and you are likely to make mistakes. So give the boyfriend business a break for a while until you are able to think straight. Right now your emotions are getting the better of you.
You are feeling depressed but you ought to socialise. Go out with your friends. Don't always stay at home. God loves you.
