'We don't know anything about it' Bishop wishes to separate church, self from claims of deadly plot against Beenie Man

HEAD OF THE Miracle Church of God wants to disassociate himself and the church from the claims made by Ennevor Franics, one of its evangelists, who claimed to have received a vision about a deadly plot to kill dancehall artiste Beenie Man.

"We don't know anything about it. It is not something he discussed with us," Bishop Aston Bayton said, revealing that Franics' claims has affected the church's credibility. "He is presenting himself as a psychic and the Church is not in agreement with that."

Bishop Bayton called a board meeting with Francis last Saturday to discuss the vision and said the church has demoted Francis from an evangelist.

In an article in last week's WEEKEND STAR, Francis said he received a vision in which he saw three men in a dark corner plotting to kill Beenie Man. According to the article, Francis said he saw the faces of the three men, however, he would only describe them to the dancehall artiste.

Bayton said even if Francis had seen the faces, he should not have said that in the article but should have told only the artiste. Francis said he has prayed for Beenie Man although he has not met with him and has decided to leave.
