Onandi Lowe - File
FORMER ENGLAND-BASED striker Onandi Lowe yesterday scored his second goal in as many games for Arnett Gardens, flashing a 69th minute header past Arlington's goalkeeper at the Tony Spaulding Sports Complex.
Lowe's header gave Arnett a 1-0 win in the Wray and Nephew Premier League match-up, moving his team to 43 points but still fifth in the league.
It was Lowe's second goal off a header for Arnett after similarly handing his team a 1-0 win against Village United two Sundays ago.
In another match played at the Spanish Town Prison Oval, David Lewis scored twice for Rivoli in their 2-0 victory over Reno for whom goalkeeping captain Aaron Lawrence missed a penalty.
Slew of postponements
There were a slew of postponements and one unfinished game among yesterday's third round fixtures.
League leaders Portmore were 1-0 ahead of champions Tivoli Gardens at the Edward Seaga Stadium when a power outage prevented play from resuming after the break.
Invaders could not field a team and failed to show at Constant Spring Road against Constant Spring whereas Waterhouse's game against Wadadah at Jarrett Park was postponed due to the death of coach Peter Cargill.
Harbour View, who had eight players away representing the Reggae Boyz in Florida, also had their away match against Village United postponed.
