Dear Pastor,
I am a young lady living in England. I came here five years ago from Jamaica. Since then, I met an English guy whom I really love and who loves me. We have our ups and downs sometimes but that happens.
Jamaican guy
The problem is, lately I met a Jamaican guy that I am also interested in, but I do not want to hurt my boyfriend. This Jamaican guy has two children, and I do not like the idea of being in a relationship with a man that already has children.
Tell me pastor what should I do
T.M., London
Dear T.M.,
The question you must answer is why are you interested in the guy from Jamaica? When he first approached you, you should have told him that you were already involved with a man. You should not have given him the impression that all is well. Now that you have discovered that he has two children, you are having second thoughts. You could have saved yourself this problem if you were frank about your situation from the very start. Could it be that you do not truly love your present boyfriend? If you love him, tell the Jamaican man that you are sorry for leading him on but you cannot go further with the relationship.
