Love in neutral

Dear Pastor,

I live in the British Virgin Islands and I work at the airport. I find myself doing things that I am not happy about. I have a girlfriend here, but I feel that I should stop going out with her. However, she does a lot for me. For example, she bought me a car.

S.S.,

Dear S.S.,

I wish you had said what are the wrong things that you are doing. Whatever they are, you know you should cease from doing them. You may get yourself into trouble if you continue to do wrong.

Concerning your girlfriend, if you know that you do not love her or your association with her may lead you into trouble, give her back her car and end the relationship with her. Do not allow the 'wheels' to keep both of you together if you see trouble looming. It is better to take the bus or walk and stay out of trouble.

Pastor.
