THE TWO MEN charged with sexual assault, buggery and indecent assault of a 14-year-old girl will face a preliminary enquiry on June 24.
Gadiel Sinclair and Delgado Davy, both of Kingston 20 addresses, were remanded in custody when they appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday. The men are before the courts having been arrested after the girl was molested in April.
When the matter came up before Resident Magistrate Martin Gayle on Tuesday, the attorneys for both men applied for bail but their request was denied.
Girl reported missing
Both men were charged after police, acting on information about the girl who was reported missing, went to a premises in the Kingston 20 area on April 26. When they arrived there the police say they caught both men in the house with Sinclair allegedly on top of the complainant.
Court files indicate that the girl was abducted at gunpoint by a man whom she knew. She was taken to the address where she was found and the accused men reportedly had both anal and vaginal sex with her. In addition, she was forced to perform oral sex on the men.
