Although they came dressed in uniform these patrons didn't have school work on their minds at Orientation -'The Ultimate School Uniform Party', held at Weekenz, Constant Spring Road, St. Andrew on Friday night. - winston sill
WEEKENZ BISTRO AND BAR, Constant Spring Road, St Andrew, was buzzing with 'vibes' last Friday as 'schoolers' turned out in their numbers for their orientation.
However it wasn't the usual school activities that took place at the venue. Instead 'Orientation - The Ultimate School Uniform Party' was one wild affair with 'vibes' and 'craziness'. The outrageous dressing that has become a major attraction at each staging of the event was not to be left out.
Bust out
Most of the female patrons seemed to have dug deep into their barrels to get some tight fitting clothing. Blouses were stretched to the limit as they struggled to hold busts in place, others were rather short and left nothing to be imagined and the skirts were nowhere near the knees
However it was not only the female students' dressing that caught the eye. In fact there were a number of male students that dressed more outrageously than the females. One young man was seen sporting a multi-coloured bag tucked over his back, a huge shirt that almost reached his knees, five ties that represented five different schools from the Corporate Area and a baggy pants that was cut above the ankle and 'frilled out'. His outfit was capped off with boots and no socks.
However, it was not only the dressing that was hot, as the dancing and atmosphere was bursting with energy. Many seemed to have forgotten the tedious task of getting into the venue or the fact that the venue was jam-packed. It was all about partying.
New dimension
When the attention was turned towards 'Addi the teacher', more popularly known as Vybz Kartel, the party took on a whole new dimension - it got naughty. Earlier Foota Hype had also shown just how ill mannered and crude selectors could get with some rather uncouth argument.
As for 'Addi the teacher' it was how to have sex, where to have sex, what to do when having sex and then advising the schoolgirls not to have sex on school buses.
'Addi' called up a barrage of artistes from his camp and the number soared as the likes of Wayne Marshall, Bling Dawg, Danny English, Spice and others also took the stage. The artistes that took the spotlight were Addi and Spice. Both went head to head for a strong sexually-laced 'lyrical battle' that the 'schoolers' enjoyed.
The party continued well into the wee hours of the morning and some patrons only began to leave when there was talk that the liquor at the bar was finished.
