The return of 'Pink Panther'

THE EDITOR, Madam:

Steve Martin actor/comedian is back in a new movie titled, The Pink Panther. This summer, many movie fans will remember the late Peter Sellers, actor/comedian, who made the character Inspector Clouseau world famous. A French detective who is prone to some very crazy accidents when investigating a case.

Producer/Director Blake Edwards made the Pink Panther movies into a very successful film-franchise back in the early and middle eighties era.

It would be interesting to see Steve Martin revive the character, making it his own.
