'Too close to make a fuss'

By GEORGE HENRY, STAR Writer

From left Kadian Muschette, her mother Joy Mattis and her twin sister, Kadeen Muschette. - geroge henry

spaldings clarendon:

THEY WERE ALIKE with everything when they were born and now 20 years later, they are still quite similar.

Kadian and Kadeen Muschette of Lincoln in Manchester are the twin daughters of Joy Mattis, born on January 21, 1985. Kadeen was born at 12:30 a.m., half an hour before Kadian.

However, unlike many twins who fuss quite a lot, they have always been quite close. According to them, they are too close to make a fuss over simple matters, as they love each other world without end.

Same likes

They have a lot in common. They enjoy dressing alike, sport similar hairstyles, love the same food, they both intend to study, cosmetology within a few years and they have given birth to children.

Unlike Kadian who only has a son, Kadeen has given birth to a triplet and had a son before. Unfortunately, one of Kadeen's triplets died five days after birth on March 4 of this year.

Kadian said she has loved her sister so much that even while they were attending Huntley All-Age School, if anyone picked on her she would not hesitate to defend her. It did not matter who the other party was.

Very close

According to Mattis, her twin daughters have been close since the day they started walking and whatever she did for one she had to do for the other.

"Anything I bought for one I had to buy it for the other, including buying two same strollers," said Joy.

Ms. Joy Mattis told THE WEEKEND STAR that she had not been aware that she would have twins until she was about five months pregnant. This, she said, frightened her, but after some time she was able to get over the feeling of carrying two babies at the same time. Both girls, she pointed out, were in good health when they came into the world.
