ROBERT 'BOBBY' FRAY may know his fate on September 5 when he will appear for trial in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court to answer to breaches of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
When Fray appeared in court yesterday, there was uncertainty about the weight of ganja of which he has been accused of being in possession. His bail was therefore extended and another court date set.
Allegations are that on January 8, 2005, at about 1 a.m., police officers from the Constant Spring Police Station were patrolling the Constant Spring area in a marked vehicle when they saw Fray and another man standing near a car.
When the two men saw the police car, they started to walk off. The police officers ordered them to stop and both were searched. Fray reportedly had three parcels of ganja in his possession.
He was then taken into custody and later charged. When he had appeared in court in April for his first date he pleaded not guilty to the charge.
