We don't want another father
Dear Pastor, My husband has been dead for two years and I am seeing someone else. The problem is that my children do not like him. I don't know what to do, because he is saying that they don't listen to me therefore, they won't listen to him. That is so true. I need your fatherly advice. I love my children and I won't give them up for anyone and he is not asking me to choose, so please help me out. V. R., Kingston Dear V. R., I suggest that you go to see a family counsellor. The children may have good reason for not wanting this man around. You have not said enough for me to make any other suggestion. Don't delay; you cannot manage this matter on your own. If you really love this man, a counsellor will help you deal with the problems. He or she may not only want to see you and this man in sessions but also the children. Pastor
