Dear Pastor,
I am a 37-year-old woman who lives in the United States. I have three beautiful kids. They are for two different fathers. The two younger ones are six and seven respectively.
Three years ago, their father went to Jamaica, leaving me all alone with them. Since he left, things have been so hard. I had to stop working because I have no one to help me with the children as they go and come from school. Sometimes I can't even find food to give them. I am so depressed. On the other hand my husband is there in Jamaica making another family.
Please pray for me everyday. I am not legal and it is very hard to get a job. Please tell me what I should do.
Thank you.

Dear S.J.
I strongly suggest that you see a lawyer. And concerning food for the children, you can receive help to feed them. Some churches in New York have feeding programmes and there are other organisations that provide food for poor people. Ask around and you will be told where to go. I know for sure the Salvation Army will help and advise you.
