TWO SISTERS CHARGED with the murder of Holden 'Owen' Nembhard of Barbary Hall district in St. Elizabeth, were on Tuesday granted $700,000 bail each in the Santa Cruz RM Court by Resident Magistrate Stanley Clarke.
Dana and Denise Linton are to return to court on September 29.
The allegation arose out of a dispute on Sunday, April 24, when Lembhard was riding his bicycle along the Hill Top main road in the parish, when he was attacked by five persons, who the court heard are members of the Linton family. He retaliated by stabbing one of them, Wayne Linton. He and Wayne died at the Black River Hospital.
Arising from Nembhard's death, Dana and Denise were charged with murder. The other two brothers, Howie and John-Wayne Linton are still at large and are being sought by the Black River police.
