Shedding light on good movie

THE EDITOR, Madam:

I had the opportunity to view Hollywood movie star, Samuel L. Jackson's movie titled In My Country recently.

It is a movie directed by John Boorman, telling a story of true events that had taken place in South Africa during the apartheid system. Samuel L. Jackson plays a Washington Post journalist sent to South Africa to cover a commission set up by the former President of South Africa, Nelson Mandela, offering amnesty to those who had committed human right abuses, provided they told the truth.

The movie is based on the book by Ant Jie Krog. According to the information from the Truth and Reconciliation Commission 21, 800 people came forward to testify. So why is there no commercial promotion for this movie?

I am, etc.,
