'Beef Head' still on the run

TWO WEEKS AFTER he allegedly shot and killed Winston McQueen, Omar Liking a.k.a Beef Head, is still on the run. Liking is wanted for questioning in relation to the death of McQueen, a 36 year-old labourer of Capture Land, Blacksmith Lane in Seaforth, St.Thomas.

Reports are that on October 22 at about 5:30 p.m., McQueen was sitting on a pedal cycle at Navarre Lane, Seaforth when Liking and another man, Carlyle McDonald a.k.a Benz, came to the scene and had an altercation with three men.

Liking then allegedly pulled a gun from his waist and fired at the men, hitting Radcliffe Byfield in the hand. Byfield and the two others who were involved in the altercation ran off.

It is reported that McDonald said something to Liking who then pointed his weapon at McQueen and shot him all over his upper body. He died on the spot. Byfield was treated at hospital and released.

The suspects made their escape on foot but were later identified by members of the community. McDonald was apprehended about two hours after the shooting.

Liking has not been seen since and the 'leads' followed thus far, by the Seaforth Police, have yielded nothing. They however, continue to investigate.
