Top four showdown in primary school football

THE SEMI-FINALS of the CB Chicken/Insports/Wata Kingston & St. Andrew Primary School football competition will be played at Cable & Wireless playfield today.

St. Aloysius will take on Mona at 12 noon, an hour and a half before defending champions Holy Family face Clan Carthy at 1:30 p.m.

Holy Family advanced to the semi-finals after scoring 3-1 over Half Way Tree while Clan Carthy beat Balmagie 2-0.

Holy Family have scored 31 goals this season while conceding two while Clan Carthy have 30 for and one against.

Patrick Brown, who has 10 goals to his credit this season, Jamal Banton, Tevin Jackson and Kereem Manning will lead Holy Family's charge, while Davion Montaque, Brian Pinnock and Orain Dixon are the main players for Clan Carthy.

Meanwhile, St. Aloysius booked their spot after beating Jones Town 3-1, while Mona stopped Franklin Town 4-1.
