IF YOU ARE like me then I know you have more than one email provider. Google Gmail now offers 2.6GB of email storage, and personally that's a lot of space for someone like me.
RoamDrive is an application that will allow you to store files using the web-based emails. The programme will work with Hotmail, MSN and Gmail.
Using RoamDrive you can use that extra storage in your inbox to store your documents, music, photos, videos and other important programmes.
You will need to download the RoamDrive client on your personal computer. The download for RoamDrive is around 3.4MB, so you better have a fast Internet connection available. Once the programme is installed and configured then you are ready to upload files to your Inbox. RoamDrive places uploaded files into your draft folder, so you can easily identify these from regular emails.
Once you place files into your email account, you can access these files from any computer in the world that has an active internet connection.
My only concern with this application is that it's currently in beta with no announced date of an actual final release version.
Overall RoamDrive is a stable and solid programme that does the job of managing your online resources.
