We need a new political system
THE EDITOR, Madam;
Beating the PNP at the polls in the next general election is a thought all labourites would love to see blossom into reality. However, that party would have to have the resources, both in terms of human and financial capital, if such a vision is to be realised. Despite the fact that Jamaica has become the murder capital of the world, and by extension one of the most indebted countries in the western hemisphere, there is little or no political mileage to be extracted from those unfortunate episodes. We, the uncommitted, have been yearning for a viable alternative that would be attractive and sought after, but to no avail. I am, etc., M. CAMPBELL St. Andrew
