DEAR PASTOR,
I am a 16-year-old girl who lived with my mother for almost all of my life, but I recently moved to the United States of America to live with my dad. My dad is one of the most generous men that I know, but I can't help thinking about my mom. I'm not just talking about normal thinking like I miss my mother.
I am talking about every second of every day and all I do is just cry whenever I get a chance. I really don't know what I am going to do because my mother is everything to me and I don't think that I can really live without her in my life. But I know that if I live with my dad, I will have a better life and later on, I can help my mom to come to America, where she also can live a better life.
Pastor, I really need your advice at this point, because I'm going insane.

Dear P. B.,
I am glad to know that your father is treating you well and I want to encourage you to be respectful to him and to use the opportunity that is afforded to you to do well in school. Indeed, you miss your mother. The relationship between both of you has been good. Bless the Lord for that. Some young girls don't like their mothers.
Whenever you feel like crying, let the tears flow. It is quite normal for a girl your age to cry whenever she thinks about someone she loves dearly. Time goes by quickly. After a few years you may be a position to send for your mother.
