IT WAS RECENTLY rumoured that there was a fall-out between producer Cordell 'Scatta' Burrell and Aidonia, one of the leading artistes in his camp, and that Aidonia had signed a management contract with another agency.

However, according to Scatta, the rumours are untrue and it was all a big misunderstanding.

"A jus misunderstanding, up to now I don't really know, mi jus hear seh news reach back to di artiste and it took a while fi me an di artiste fi really come together an talk it out, is jus a lack of communication," Scatta said.

According to Scatta, what further added to the confusion was that "other agencies in between that time were approaching him (Aidonia), but everyting is okay, nutt'n nuh change. Inna everyting yuh haffi have damage control," he said.

Scatta said he was happy that the misunderstanding took place during this early stage rather than later down the line after the big money has been invested.

'EVERYTING LEVEL BACK'

Aidonia, when contacted confirmed that it was in fact a minor situation that got out of hand.

"Yow it was jus a minor ting, like me did hear sum'n an' him (Scatta) did hear sum'n an is like some people did a try corrupt di whole ting, suh when mi hear it inna di road, an people have it seh mi dis Scatta an mi get hype afta Sting, suh wi seh wi haffi clear it up...there is no way Aidonia coulda dis Scatta, di man weh bring me forward an mek people know mi, but everyting level back proper," Aidonia explained.

As far as being approached by others to manage him, Aidonia said, "the only person who I was in contact with was Sharon Burke, and this was even before di whole ting, she had always been interested in booking me, no management ting, she interested from December," Aidonia said.

Sharon Burke, in dispelling rumours that she had signed Aidonia to Solid Agency, also added that the allegations were false.

"I've called him (Aidonia) and asked him about two shows, but that's it. We are a booking agency," Sharon Burke said.

PLANS TO MOVE FORWARD

However, Scatta says things are back to normal and plans are now being put in place to release a number of singles.

"Right now wi a guh si down an work pon some single, and he (Aidonia) has a few to be released by me and some outside producers. Wi jus have a lot of catching-up work to do," Scatta said.
