Dear Pastor,
I am a 21-year-old woman. In January of last year, I missed my period and in March of the same year I went to the doctor to check it out. To my surprise I was told I was three months pregnant.
I went home and my boyfriend and I talked about it. He was the only person who knew about this. He decided that I should do an abortion because he wasn't working at the time and could not maintain the pregnancy. At first, I wasn't up to it because I knew it's not right, but then I made up my mind and did it because I wasn't working either.
I went to the doctor and he gave me some pills to take. I took all of the pills.
Everything seemed to be going well until my boyfriend and I used no form of contraceptive during sexual intercourse and I didn't get pregnant again and I'm worried that something is wrong with me. I am having my regular period every month so I don't know what is wrong with me.
Now, I am with another guy and he's asking me to have his child and I don't know what to tell him. I think something is wrong because having sexual intercourse without any form of contraceptive, I think I should be able to get pregnant again. I don't know what to think.
Please give your advice. I need your help, please tell me what to do. God bless you.

Dear A. B.,
Why are you in such a haste to get pregnant again? What are you trying to prove? Are you scared that because of the abortion you may never be able to get pregnant again? You are only 21 years old. You should leave this matter in God's hand. When you terminated the pregnancy, you were not working and your excuse for doing so was that the man who impregnated you was not in a position to support the child. How much has your situation changed? Do you now have a skill?
If you are concerned whether you will be able to get pregnant again, may I suggest that you go to see a gynaecologist who would be in a position to advise you. A child needs both parents. Never forget that very often when men pressure their women, these man walk away from the women after they have conceived.
