'ROBOT' RAPIST STALKS WOMEN - Victims drugged then molested cops say

A 'ROBOT' OPERATOR who has drugged and raped several women in the Corporate Area has left the police desperately searching the city for clues that can lead to his arrest.

According to the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA), the man is said to operate a minibus in the Kingston eastern area but is possibly behind an incident last weekend where a woman who took a public transport on Molynes Road was drugged and raped.

The first two cases happened earlier this month along Mountain View Avenue, Kingston. Inspector Duetress Foster-Gardener of the CISOCA said that the man reportedly stopped for the women who were standing by themselves at minutes after 6 a.m. When the victims boarded the bus, he allegedly turned off the main road and sprayed the women who became unconscious. It is reported that during this time the women were molested.

The police say the victims later awoke in bushes naked and feeling dizzy.

In the third incident, the complainant was on her way home when she stopped a car which was said to be heading to Half-Way Tree with a man and a woman on board.

It is reported that along the way the other two passengers got off leaving the complainant and the man. It is alleged that the man told the complainant he was turning on to a side road to avoid traffic. Instead of heading to Half-Way Tree he reportedly took the woman along Waltham Park Road where he reportedly pulled a bottle filled with liquid and pointed it in the complainant's direction.

The police again said that the woman later awoke naked in bushes feeling dizzy. It is possible, the police say, that the same person is involved in all three cases as the victims were all raped using the same method.

In the meantime, the three cases have prompted the police to warn passengers to be careful and they advise that authorised methods of public transport system should be used in order to reduce the possibility of any such incidents occurring.
