THE POWER OF Faith Ministries located at 13 Dawkins Drive in the Portmore Town Centre will be hosting a series of special programmes for the week of June 25-30, 2006.
The annual 'Family Week' services which will bring together persons from all across Portmore, Spanish Town and also Kingston will start tomorrow.
There will be various presenters from the religious, medical and sociology fields in Jamaica. Among them are Dr. Blossom White, Rev. Carla Dunbar, Rev. Augustine Odih, Minister Evon Blair, Dr. James E. Peart and the host Pastor Bishop Dr. Delford Davis and others.
Some of the subjects that will be addressed are: Intimacy in marriage, health and finance, parent/child relationship, family in the plan of God, among others.
The week will also have the unique feature of a 'men only' and 'women only' gathering, Tuesday and Thursday night respectively.
The meetings will convene at 7 each night at the Power of Faith church in the Portmore Town Centre. "It will be an inter-denominational gathering and persons from all religious persuasion are invited," Bishop Davis told THE PORTMORE STAR.
"Non-Christians are being specially invited. Christ in the family makes a difference!"
