A MAN WHO is currently in custody on a murder charge, recently had another charge added to his record. Errol Wignall, appeared before RM Georgianna Frazer in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
Wignall first appeared in court to answer to a murder charge after he allegedly smashed the head of a man while he slept on a stall with a woman in downtown, Kingston. It was alleged that all three were involved in a love triangle.
His latest charge also involves violence, as he is accused of stabbing an inmate at the Half-Way Tree lock up. The court heard that on May 1, Wignall and another inmate were fighting over sleeping space. A sharp instrument was used to stab the complainant, who had to be rushed to the hospital.
Because the post-mortem report had not been submitted. The case was set to be mentioned again on July 6.
