PHOTOGRAPHER'S COMMENTS:
YOU KNOW I am just amazed at how we men are so pathetic. My reason for saying this is; while covering a peace march by female students and teachers of Holy Family Primary School - as part of their Girls Day activities last Thursday - as they went through the volatile Southside community, only a few men were out on the streets.I mean there was very little support by the men. I saw mothers out in their numbers showing support and the girls were so well clad in outfits depicting the different professions they wanted to pursue in the future.
It seems that all they were asking is that they get a violence-free environment so that they can achieve these goals they have set and the only way that will be possible is for some of the same men who were missing, to put down their weapons and start to be more visible in a positive light.

It seems the STAR Photographer has caught some shy ones here.
