Courts receive post-mortem reports for St Thomas six

THE COURTS HAVE received the post-mortem reports for the six relatives who were murdered in St. Thomas in February this year.

The court had been awaiting the reports to complete the file in order to begin a preliminary enquiry.

Michael McLean, the man charged with six counts of murder for allegedly chopping and burning to death Marshall George McCool, two years old, Sean Chin, eight years old, Patrice McCool; Jesse O'Gilvie, nine years old; Terri-Ann Mohammed, 40 years old and Jhaid McCool, six years old, was without legal representation until Friday when he appeared before the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court. C.J. Mitchell appeared on his behalf .

The clerk informed the court that the Director of Public Prosecutions has an interest in the case and will determine whether the preliminary inquiry will be held at that court or the circuit court.

The preliminary enquiry is set for July 31.
