ON ANY GIVEN day you can see two-year-old twin brothers Terraine and Terraune Howard playing wildly in the yard, house or on a playing field. Playing is a daily ritual for the active twins.
The twin's mother, Ann-Marie Lawrence, usually sells snacks on the sideline at football matches.
Lawrence said that she has her hands full with the active youngsters.
"They fight every day and give trouble, but I love them very much. Everywhere I go people say that they are a blessing," a smiling Lawrence told THE STAR Life and Times.
The mom and her sons are joined together with love and affection as during the interview by THE STAR Life and Times, the kids were all over their mother and she enjoyed the attention.
The twin brothers live with their mom on Queens Avenue in Naggo Head, Portmore, St. Catherine, and are in a family with a history of twins.
Lawrence said that the boys' father, Constantine Howard, has an uncle who has twin girls and also his aunt has twins. However, there are no twins on her side of the family.
Their mother said that she had not been expecting twins, but she is happy with them.
BIGGS AND LITTLE
The twins were born on December 28, 2003, Terraine affectionately called 'Biggs' was the first to be born, while Terraune, otherwise called 'Little', came minutes later.
She noted that apart from their bonding, the twins are known to like the same things, such as the two like wearing the same type of clothing. "They like the same clothes. If they are dressed differently they will cry," she said.
However, when it comes to colour, they don't see eye to eye as 'Biggs' likes the colour green and 'Little' prefers the colour blue. Terraune doesn't eat much, while Terraune eats a lot of food and oftentimes consumes what is left of his younger sibling's meals.
