Dear Pastor,
I am a 40-something-year-old married man who visits Jamaica from Canada often with several of my friends that are my age. We are all married, but we often meet young women between the ages of 20 to 26. These women are often very nice and needless to say, we have our way with them and then go home. Some of us promise them marriage, visas or other things to encourage them to treat us nicely.
We always used protection when having sex with these women until my 21-year-old friend who is a student at a teachers college got pregnant. Even though we misled these women to an extent, I am really coming to Jamaica to marry her because it is the right thing to do.
I wish to warn brothers from abroad to treat the women with respect and for the young ladies in Jamaica not to be too gullible. I feel awful over what I have done, but I am happy that it is going to turn out OK because I really love this young lady and will bring her to Canada and provide for her and my new born with the best quality of life.

Dear J. L.,
Your wife in Canada has not done you any wrong, but you came to Jamaica and impregnated a woman. So now, I am assuming, you are going to divorce your wife and return to Jamaica and marry this young girl. The truth is that many of you guys come to Jamaica and lie about yourselves to these girls, give them a little foreign money, go to bed with them and then call the girls 'gullible'.
Yes, it doesn't take a male tourist to realise that many Jamaican girls need financial help. Some of the girls are willing to sell their bodies to male visitors, while some of the men are prepared to make them promises they never keep in exchange for sex. You say you are going to marry the young woman that you impregnated. Some of the men fool our girls and when they go home, the girls don't hear from them again. It seems to me that your conscience is bothering you.
