I am 29 years old and I am still in love with my ex boyfriend who lives in New York. He is seeing someone there and his family loves her. I know his family too, but not his mom. I want us to get back together. He calls me and sends me money when I need it. I have a son by someone else. I live and work in Jamaica. I plan to visit New York very soon to see him.

Do you think there's a chance for us? I appreciate your advice.

I don't know if you and this man would establish an intimate relationship again. He has a girlfriend in New York and you are aware of it. You live in Jamaica and although he sends you financial help from time to time, that does not mean that he will marry you. When you go to visit him in New York, he may even go to bed with you, but that is no guarantee that you are going to be his future wife. What has he said to you about the future? Are you in his plans? Why do you think you have a chance in his life? What about the girl who lives in New York? I suggest that you consider this man a good friend and stop wasting your time chasing him.
