Aidonia says his recent trip abroad has opened his eyes to the greater potential that reggae/dancehall music has and as a result, he is driven to do much better at it.
"Di fuss time mi fly out a when wi guh do di Alliance launch and just weekend gone wi do di Labour Day Parade in New York. Di ting did mad, an di response of the people did deh pon a level. Mi deh pon Hot 97 truck an me a di only man weh nuh have a song in rotation pon di station an di response suh great dat mi a tek mi work a hundred times more serious," Aidonia said.
"Di people dem did come out fi si mi an dem not even si mi how mi woulda want, because it was a launch ting, but truss mi, out a all a di truck dem weh did deh deh, di people dem gravitate to our truck," he says. According to Aidonia, this shows how much the people abroad love and respect dancehall music.
Aidonia says he is hoping to return to the United States to do some shows and to give fans a whole lot more.
"Mi have a show fi October an right now di call dem a pour in," Aidonia said.
