St. Thomas

Twenty-nine-year-old Germaine McCurrie, otherwise known as 'Jubba,' from Mt. Lebanus district, St. Thomas, was shot and killed by two assailants on Paul Bogle Drive, Red Hills, in the parish on Monday.

Reports are that he rode his black and blue motorcycle to his girlfriend's home and as he opened the gate, he was fired on. He received bullets wounds to his head, wrist and back. He died on the spot. The men escaped on foot.

One man has been detained for questioning and the Morant Bay CIB are investigating.
