How could it be?

How could it be?

THE EDITOR, Sir:

This really boggles the mind. How could the Ministry of Education certify that barn-like structure - the Hartlands Basic School in St. Catherine - for use as a basic school?

The school should be declared unfit as a learning centre by The Early Childhood Commission.

Alternative arrangements should be made as soon as possible to house the little ones from the school.

A million thanks to Rasbert Turner of the STAR for bringing the Hartlands Basic School to public attention.

I am, etc.,
