Brian Moore, a resident of Charlemont Housing Scheme, in St. Catherine, was shot dead, in Linstead, an adjoining community, police said, on Friday.

The incident took place about 8 a.m., along lower King Street, while he was taking his daughter to school.

Reports are that he was shot several times by unknown assailants. His daughter was clutching his hand at the time of the shooting.

The Linstead police are carrying out investigation.
